What is the most adventurous thing you’ve done?
One of my most adventurous things I’ve done is strike up conversations with strangers in public. I love the spontaneous and unexpected stories that come from people. One night, I was chatting with a couple heading home after a night out. We ended up having an amusing talk on how they were progressing in training their cat to use a human toilet. It’s moments like these that remind me of the joy that comes from human connection and reminds me that everyone has their own story to tell – and I’m all ears!
What is your favourite book and why?
While it might seem a bit childish, Deltora Quest holds a special place in my heart ever since I first read it in primary school. The adventures of Lief, Barda, and Jasmine in their quest to restore the Belt of Deltora captivated my imagination and instilled a lifelong love for storytelling. The rich world and memorable characters continue to inspire me, reminding me of the power of courage and perseverance. This beloved series is a cherished part of my personal history, and its magic still resonates with me today.
